I have been rummaging about behind the false bulkhead of my '97 2.0 LPT and have found what looks like the ECU but there also seems to be one under the passenger seat !

I suspect that the one under the seat is for SRS and stuff and the one at the bulkhead is were the go faster stuff lives..... am I right ? Can the panel advise...Thanks.

In my opinion - under seat they hould be two, and under both seats btw...
Ok, that's in my 9000CS, I don't know what's in yours. I know the lower-one under drivers seat is related to TCS, because when some TCS valve went off - first this device was checked.

I have two units behind the false bulkhead - the ABS control and the injection system controller.. then there is the stuff under the seat as well

Don't get into this one; Saab seem to have decided new locations for the various different 'electronic boxes' on almost a daily basis. Certainly I've found them all over the place - behind false dash, under pass. seat, under rear seat, up above drivers feet........
Is there a definitive list?
Could anyone do one?
