Thread: Saab 2006 9-3 convertible 2.0 turbo passenger side windshield wiper quit working!

Problem started today during a rainstorm. The passenger side wiper just stopped in the up position. Tried adjusting wiper speed, delay.....nothing. Once I got home I was able to push the wiper down to its storing position. That wiper just doesn't work anymore while the driver side has no issues. Any ideas? Thanks.

Sounds like a linkage problem. If you can remove the plastic cover under the wipers, (you have to do this to change the cabin filter), you may see what the problem is.

the linkage arm has come adrift for that side,normally it's a new wiper mech,there is a company this side of the pond that does the arms alone..
