Passenger door lock

My '97 9000CSE passenger door quit locking with the central locking system or the remote. When I use the key on the outside of the pasenger door it locks/unlocks the all four doors but that is the only way it will will work, other than alone, manually form the inside. Power windows etc. work fine.

Does it work on the central console switch? If not it is probably the motor failed. They are available pretty cheaply on ebay (at least in the UK!) and easy to swap once the door card is off.
