Thread: Changing button climate to facelift dials?

Changing button climate to facelift dials?

    Is this possible!?

It looks to occupy the same space within the dashboard... Would it be as easy to swap out my buttons and replace with the dials?

I believe the auto ACC (button) has one cable connection, while the manual (dials) has 2 cable connections and a different resister setup.

    Thanks for your reply.

I don't mean the basic non climate dials.

The facelift cars with climate control have dial wheels to control the temperatures. Not button operated like earlier cars.

I thought about this for 5 mins then decided its not worth it,wiring/tech2 aside the later control panel doesnt have a display so you would need to change the cd player/headunit which in turn would need a new dash facia/2 vents and the button panel changing. This is assuming these parts will fit the early dashboard ?

The display on the button aircon unit is only for the climate functions though?

The dials on the new one don't need a display do they? Or is the temperature displayed elseware on the dash?
