No don't worry I am not about to go nicking fuel from someone elses car.
I half filled my tank before the turbo went west. The car is now about to be traded in and I don't want to leave so much fuel in tank. I have tried putting about 5ft of pipe into tank, but it didn't reach the fuel. It also seemed to come up against some sort of obstruction. Is there an anti-syphon device in the tank?
It is going in tomorrow morning so I need an urgent answer please.

Yes it certainly was. Couldn't get pipe to go into fuel in tank. So with much disgust I have had to let it go with 1/2 tank fuel in.
But at least it has gone. Someone else can have the headache of fuel getting into sump and blowing turbo up.

Saab were having a laugh, £2870 for new turbo, plus fitting, on a £3000 car. Garrett will only supply turbo's to Saab.
That car should have lasted me out, but sadly not. I will miss it, but not the repair costs.

R.I.P.
