Didn't know you could get that.

My plastics have faded quite a bit, will look into getting some of that.

I had just been using the autoglym plastic cleaner (the green stuff) by itself, which works really well.

I cant believe how white yours have gone!

The valeters in my last work used a heat gun. Heat drives out the oxidation, leaving it dark again for quite a few months.

Great results, N2STY, nice even finish, I'm going to try that.

(Note to readers - it's in their trade range, so not available at Halfords. Be careful you don't get their satin spray paint instead, probably not so easy to apply!)

I bought a bottle of Autoglym black restorer for my Vauxhall Carlton in 1995 and it still works great on my 9-3! I only got it two weeks ago and the mirror surrounds were dire. Dug the old bottle out and they look like new.

will this restore the handle surrounds too? mines are aluminium and have started flaking (pitting), this also seems to be the case with my passenger door mirror.

Damn good stuff it made a big difference! i spent 5 hours doing every single black plastic trims, but is worth doing that just interesting how long does it last for?

I bought some of this from Ebay last month. It is very impressive, four washes in the blacks are still black and the water beads off the plastic.

    Good stuff.
