For the past 2 days I am having a difficult time removing the key on my 2000 9-3 se convertible. It does not seem to engage in park all the way. After applying more pressure to the brake petal, jiggling the automatic shifter and with some force the key comes out. However, when this happens I can see the shifter move back slightly and the car still thinks the key is in the ignition (radio stays on, wipers stay on, dinging sound when the door opens and alarm does not work). It almost feels like I am turning the whole ignition cylinder the last few millimeters rather than just the key for it to slide out. Any ideas?
