washer problem

9-3 tid, 2004 My wipers do not park or work on intermittent and my screen wash does not work.
I do not have rain sensitive wipers.
Some people on this forum have suggested the wiper motor may be faulty.
Does anybody know if or why the motor would effect the washers?

i had this problem with my 04 93 aero conv. , dunno why it effects washers but seems to ... i had new motor fitted and everything spot on again !!!!

HI, i had this and followed instructions in this thread to dismantle wiper motor.

Once i had drilled out the rivets you could see the earth strip from the park switch was corroded. Cleaned it all up and resealed.
now all works fine again
