Sat looking out the window at a dreary mid-winter view, so thought this might brighten your day. June 2007, Trollhattan.
After the main event we were packing up when Eric Carlsoon strolled by. It was just too good an opportunity to miss.

Yep it was one of those moments John. Finally met and shook hands (twice) with one of my all time heroes.

A very humble gentleman is Mr Carlsson. Though clearly tired and a little frail he did not hesitate to pose for our photo....... and chat up the ladies!

Slightly off thread, but I was looking at the Saab history DVD you put together David for us a couple of years ago once again, the other night, with Mr Saab in it. Chatting up the ladies, eh? Life in the old dog yet. Excellent viewing!

I already loved going to Sweden from when I used to go an business and the odd holiday, but this year was special.

Carnaval is coming up in two weeks... now that is another outing that everyone should try (3-6th Feb in Maastricht and southern Netherlands, Belgium and Germany) not a Saab event but we will be taking a couple out there just for the fun of the drive!
