electric problems

first problem will be obvious ,but how do i change the sidelight bulb in a 1986 9000?
Secondly though,very confused.When i break if my lights are off they now flash evry time i touch the break.Secondly tonight i took the key out of the ignition and the engine continued to run until i switched the lights off.then the engine cut out straight away.This dosent seem right and i am no mechanic!
Any suggestions greatly received.

Could just be one or other of the brake light bulbs has a filament broken and shorting to the side light circuit, see thread below titled "keeps running"
It's a quick and easy check, you should be able to spot it once you remove the bulbs and take a squint at them.

To get at them simply unclip the back of the rear light clusters in the boot, the bulbs and holders all swing out of the reflectors as one piece.
