It may depend on which warning is displayed, but I reset the oil-quality display (when I had the oil changed early) simply by selecting that display, and then press-and-hold to clear the computer.

i have changed everything that would have been done in the due service but was still getting a message saying " time for service" with a spanner showing. il try that in the morning as it only tells me first thing in the morning.

    cheers

In Sid, choose settings, then service, then reset service indicator, you may need to hold your foot on the brake whilst selecting yes.

It won't give you the option to reset until much closer to the time, wouldn't worry too much as long as you keep up to date with your mileage and dates of servicing. I think it can be tech2 reset but garage will charge at least 20 for that.

I would assume that whoever the previous owner was hasn't followed the service intervals of the car so therefore it has gone out of alignment.

I think it's within 600 miles of the scheduled service intervals, how many miles are you on now?

I meant how many miles is your car on, the service intervals run every 18,000miles.
