Thread: Lowering 9-3 Vector Sport

  1. #1
Anyone lowered their 9-3SS with different springs.
The wheels don't fill the wheel archers very well, especially on the front.
Saab always seem to have lots of gap between the archers and wheels.

Although you have the Vector Sport, you may not have the sport suspension. We had the sport suspension but found it harsh. Fitting the Hirsch springs made it a lot better. Hirsch springs need the sport dampers though.

If you have 16 inch wheels you don't have the sport suspension. That came with 17 inch wheels.

However, 17 inch wheels were an option on the standard suspension. So 17 inch wheels could be either.

I was in the saab dealer yesterday and asked this very question. the answer: the only way to check was with the VIN on their computer system. my vector sport doesn't have it...... but it can be fitted after as an option. would cost over £600 see here: http://www.elkparts.com/product_info.php/c...roducts_id/2752 and then I would want the hirsch spings too at another £300 see here: http://www.hirsch-performance.ch/Content.a...erke/F750003000.
