Too short for a bottle opener and doesn't fit anything on the aerial

It's not one of those things for removing the radio by sliding it in down the side?

Dunno, I don't have a SAAB radio I usually cut the two ends off a coathanger to remove a radio.

I've got one of these tools too, in Mrs TBs new C900. Not sure what it is for. I thought at first it might be apoints spanner off an earlier model.....
    Thinks...
It's not a spanner for unscrewing a SAAB whip aerial is it? You know, before going into a car wash etc...

Doesn't look like it was ever used either. car has a normal telescopic aerial. Must check someday to see if it is electric, either way it needs replacing

Just for the hell of it - why don't you show it to your "friendly Saab Main Dealer" Master Tech, next time you're in.
It could keep him scratching his head until retirement age. (or he might even know what it is !!!!!)
Please let us know when you find out. I'm intrigued.

There is a special tool (Pt No 8293474), which I must admit I've never knowingly seen, which is a door lever/trim clip remover. Could this be one of those?

WEll, I needed a manifold to turbo gasket for the 9k. Went to Western SAAB - where a delightful young lady gave me a cup of coffee - while Tom Mallon (top man, been in SAAB parts for years) got the gasket, I asked him what the tool was for, and he knew straight away.

Now for the points, because points make prizes!

Scaero and myself, 10 points because it is primarily a tool for tightening and releasing a whip aerial (original fit)

Glendle can have 10 points as well, because it is also a bottle opener!
