Thread: Adjustable seats 9-3

  1. #1
The mrs doesn't like the non-adjustable Saab passenger seat in the 9-3, but loves the 9-5 seat. Any chance of putting an adjustable 9-5 seat into a 9-3, as I don't fancy paying £1000 for a dealer to fit the adjustable seats? Any alternative fixes? Thanks

not sure what you mean by 'non-adjustable' seat in the 9-3? Both front seats are adjustable.

How much do you want to spend on modifying the seats? I am not sure that it makes economic sense and the 9-3 seats are not uncomfortable to sit in.

Height adjustable. And yes, they do cut into the Mrs' legs, hence uncomfortable.

Bobzilla, both driver and passenger seat in my 9-3 are height adjustable. Perhaps she wants to try adjusting the tilt of the seat forward or back?

What model spec/year do you have? Everything I have looked at, including my dad's V reg 9-3 didn't have a height adjustable passenger seat. You could only get it with the electric seats option, which was £1000 and is rare as rocking horse poop. If they put manual height adjustment on the 9-3 passenger seat, I'd be very interested in knowing when.

    Thanks.
