Removing SID - 2001 9-3

Hi,

I need to remove my SID (to repair the pixels). I cant find any instructions for removing a SID on a 9-3, just a 9-5 (which makes it easy as there are switches to push out along side it).

I have tried removing the radio and pushing from behind but it does not want to budge.

Any ideas before I trash my dashboard?

Just give it a big shove, it will then pop out. You wont do any damage. I did it few month back to fix my SID

That does work. Just got my SID back this week from Simon De-Gare Pit (chap on ebay), all pixels now present and correct.
