Re: 9-3 M02 lowering springs
I put Abbott springs and konis on my 93 M00 LPT very happy with same
They are a litter harsh but not overly so and they lower the car only 25 mm so I hvae had no problems with ramps etc.
Also put VRK, up rated Rear ARB and steering rack clamp which tightened up everything nicely
Regards

Re: 9-3 M02 lowering springs
I installed the eiback pro spring and damper set and very pleased. It wasnt to harsh but much better than aero standard suspension

Re: 9-3 M02 lowering springs
I have Eibach Springs with Koni Dampers on my Aero, and I had Abbott Springs with Koni Dampers on my previous 900. I'd say that the Eibach springs give a more comfortable day to day ride, but no difference between them when you're pushing them through the twisty bits

Re: 9-3 M02 lowering springs
Hirsch springs & dampers on mine, excellent. Happen to be made by Eibach too...

Did exactly the same as Eoin, great result. Car feels really sorted and corners flat and true.

Re: 9-3 M02 lowering springs
Yes, me too, ditto Eoin and Converted, everything as per the Abbott site except the front subframe brace as I didn't want to lose clearance. Great result and a better ride in mine than with the standard set-up on most surfaces. The poly bushes and rack clamp haven't increased noise or vibration and torque steer has gone

Re: 9-3 M02 lowering springs
Funny about that sub frame brace.
I talked it over at the time with my dealer and he said the brace does not reduce ground clearance
i.e. its no lower then the sump.
Where it does effect you is if you park head on to a high kerb then it will reduce clearance as it is fitted proud of the front tires.
I all ways reverse into a space so doesn't affect me so got it put on.
Went for MOT / NCT here and they measure the percentage difference in the suspension before upgrades 12% front and 14% rear differential: after 0% front and 4% rear.
Wonder if the 0% is due to the brace
Regards
Eoin
