anniversary - bargain or not?

i have been trawling the want ads for a cheap run about for the mrs (looking for an old c900 or similar) when this caught my eye...tempted to have a look for myself....
97(P) 9000CSE anniversary, top spec, blk leather, alloys etc etc priced at £1299.

no mention of mileage, is this a bargain or overpriced...i know the anniversary is a special edition and fully loaded but is there anything in particular i should look for ???

There's one on eBay at a bit less. It might be the same car - if so, the advert doesn't mention it's LHD (and on a French plate)! (although this is clear from the photos).

Is yours the same car?

This sounds incredibly - suspiciously - cheap for the car unless it needed a hell of a lot of work doing. Any idea what the true conditioon was?

for a '97 9k to be so cheap (my '96 2.0lpt cse was #1900 with a bible for a serv history) sounds like it could have had allsorts wrong with it. Or conversely, could have been sold due to bereavement, so let's not jump to conclusions, folks...
