Help with new fuel pump

Today I got a new fuel pump from ECP, however the design is different. it has a plastic tag carring the electrical terminals and stops you fitting the top mounting ring, has anybody come across this problem and did you solve it. I have been on to Walbro in the States and they inform me this is the new design and I need installation kit # 400-997 does anyone know where I can get this kit from.

I have replaced the fuel pump on my 9000 recently. Do you mean the black rubber mounting that sits on the pump??

If so when I put my new pump the guys at the shop where I bought it put this rubber on the pump for me. However this was not an easy job and took them about 20mins with plenty of colourful language as well. Once the new rubber was on the pump was easily replaced.

But try as we may we have found it impossible to fit the new type of pump in the housing that you quoted, have already ordered the new system and it should be with me by 8-30 am tomorrow. However if they did manage to get the new style pump on, it will give you a better system, reverse pressures and anti bubble were some of the terms used. I was just to eager to get the damn thing that to worry about the new specs
