    electrical problem

    saab 9000,both front heated seats not working,intermitant wiper not working,tried everything.........thanks in anticipation

    Have you tried unplugging the power feed to the seats (under the seats) to check for power and for resistance across the heating elements?

    As for the heated seats, follow this guide

    Fixing them is not difficult, it's likely to be either the fuse, the switch or likely the element.

    Switches can be bought on Ebay, elements just need a quick solder job, takes about an hour per seat.

    Not sure about the intermittent wipe but I'd check the switch contacts for starters.

    there appears to be no power going to the plug under seats,i cant see any problem with fuses or relay...any suggestions

    Can you hear the seat switch clicking as you move through the positions?

    Remove the switch from the dash but leave it plugged in, measure the voltage.
