Re: new car ?
Got to be the 2.3 Aero manual. 344 Nm std, a fair bit more with an Elkparts chip change for £332
http://www.elkparts.co.uk/product_info.php...products_id=921
I've got a std one and its quick, not off the mark, but when its moving it goes well.

Re: new car ?
the 2.3 aero any preferable year or model ?

Full throttle
Re: new car ?
Anything MY94 onwards is good. Avoid models with TCS if poss.

Re: new car ?
Depends on how much you want to spend ? I have seem some late models Aero's up near £8K.
They do seem to be the model to go for.
I couldnt stretch to an Aero, so bought a LPT 2.3 manual, which was considerably less than that, then spent apprx £1500 modifying it, which now gives me a little more grunt than an AERO, but, at the moment not the handling, nor the lovely seats that come in AERO.

Re: new car ?
Or a 1998 2.3T Anniversary, that comes with the TD04 turbo 225bhp engine too
Andrew
PS, don't worry too much about TCS, I'm down to 2 with that now and they don't cause any problems.... where's that wood.

Re: new car ?
why not spend some money on the car you have? i have a 9000 cselpt. maptun stage 3 = 276 bhp and 370nm torque.

Re: new car ?
