Big Davy
Hello everyone, I am returning to the mark after promising 'never again'after my 9000cse went up in flames last year.

But here we are, old wounds heal, and when my mate said he was selling his 900SE classic (owned by him for 9 years) I just had to say yes.

Its a car i've always admired, a 1993 K plate in Ruby red.
Unfortunately not a turbo but hey i'm back in the mark for not a lot of cash in a car i know i can trust! fawlty.gif thumbsup.gif
Looking forward to joining in the chat,
Davy. thumbsup.gif

Me too, see here I had a GM900, then a Honda Accord, back to a Saab 9-5, currently a Skoda Superb, looking to get another 9-5.

Once a Saab owner, you'll keep coming back it seems.

Hi vince, yeah once bitten we seem to keep coming back for more!
Good luck with your search, for what its worth i'd choose a 9-5, definetly a better car in my opinion. Thats what i'll be getting when funds allow (many moons from now!) rolleyes.gif

welcome back, hope you have better luck this time.my cse is now at 217,000 and has cost very little to maintain,as have all the saabs ive had,so you must have been very unlucky.hope this is a good one.

Hi zepplin, hows things?
I'm pretty confident about this car my friend has owned it over 9 years, so i know the car well. its always been well kept and reliable etc.
Its probably not my first choice of saab model but like i said having known the car for so long i'm happy. plus it gets me into a saab again until i can save up and talk the mrs into a 9-5!

Hope to catch up some time, i'll post a picture of my 900 when i get it next week.
Cheers, Davy.

I've just got my backside into a 9-5 after a torrid time with a 9000 aero last year. I vowed never again, I find that I keep peeking round the curtains just to look at it, sad? possibly. I love it to bits.

welcome back, Davy, I am quite sure that you will not be let down with your 'new' ride thumbsup.gif

you could be talking about me... '92 900T, 303k miles, broken suspension and frame, being pulled apart for the bits. you can see some of the dashboard and interior parts in plastic wrap, ready for storage, sitting in the driver's seat here -

parts are being saved for my next c900... currently looking for something in the '90-'93 range, 900, turbo, manual transmission. I have a spare car full of parts right here. I am a Saab Nut and proud of it
