Hi,

please excuse typos, I've a cast on my right hand and I'm making heavy work of typing with my left! (I had a Trapeziectomy a fortnight ago, have been off work since with at least another seven and a half weeks to go)
Lots of time to think...................... dangerous, I know!

We are thinking of moving house, so we'll need to economise on outgoings to fund a larger mortgage etc.
I've floated the idea of the management selling her 18 month old Focus and using the Wagen instead - thus freeing the loan repayments to go towards the Mortgage. Agreed in principle. This would leave me carless.......

Regular readers of this forum will remember me struggling with the choice between an Aero and the Hirsch TID.

Assuming the house move goes ahead I shall be looking for some wheels ........ Max budget will be £3000, I'll cover about 15000 per year and above all else I will need reliability.

So what's it to be? An NG900 or 93 maybe (a cabrio appeals), or another 9-5 (a saloon), or even a 9000.
A Turbo or normally aspirated....

Anyone want to throw in their two pennyworth.............................

Cheers

Alyn

Hi Alyn,
Hope the wrist is better!
Did you solve your dilemna? If you fancy a standard 9-5 estate 2.2TiD (nothing as expensive as a Hirsch job or an Aero) please let me know. Especially if you can stretch a bit above your £3000 limit.
Have a look at this (and sorry for my typos)

Hi Tim,

Hand is still in a cast, thanks for asking.

We're well chuffed with the Wagen, and don't need a second large motor. I'm starting to research the pros and cons of the various NG900s and 9-3s.

Best of luck selling yours

Alyn
