Hi guys,
It's that time of year again and I'm looking for an insurer which will take modifed saabs. Most insurers accept the usual mods, alloys, springs etc. But when you mention the abott racing rescue kit or polyurethane bushes, they go "errr not sure what that is, £5000 please". No.
So my question to you guys n gals, can you recommend any good insurers who take modified saabs?
Cheers.
Gasman.

this topic crops up every few months .....
fortunately there's a fair few specialists who understand mods in detail and who will discuss your own circumstances intelligently - as opposed to the sort of familiar reaction you've had so far ......
the same names tend to crop up so well worth doing a search for past threads, here's a recent one to get started

I would suggest rying Greenline as MarkE suggested in that thread that lags72 refers.
Mine is due in next 3 weeks and current insurer has gone up to £575 for me 50+ and my wife both drivers and both for business use in Norwich and only allowed for car back to standard. Greenline quoted £462 inc of car back in tuned form. Quite pleasing!

For youngsters Elephant .co.uk seem to be good. My son is 22 and he got a quote for a 9k aero of £950 full comp!
