Hi,

I am looking for a front seat cover to fit my 2005 9-3 SS. I play basketball and where we train there is no showers so have to drive home sweaty. (I do shower if there is facilities, when we play away games, I'm not dirty all the time! )

I bought a seat cover set from Boyes last weekend but they did not fit. I have also tried a universal Protectoplast seat cover but this didn't fit either. The seat covers don't fit over the side bolsters of the front seats.

My Mam has suggested using a fleece type blanket but really I would like something waterproof. I have seen the seat covers on eBay but I'm a bit wary of buying one as I don't really know if they will fit and don't want the hassle of sending it back.

I have seen some at Machine Mart so will have a look at them but in the mean time does anyone on here have any ideas? I don't want to spend a load of money, maybe upto £20 or there abouts. Any help would be much appreciated.

What your mum suggested..a throw over

the ss seat have airbags built in to them...

I bought a cover for the rear seats for when the dogs are in the car, it's sort of canvas with a waterproof backing ( similar to a camping airbed material ) you could get your Mam to cut something like that up to make a cover with a couple of straps to hold it in place ( and not over the airbag )

I've seen some dog blankets on special at Morrison's petrol stations for £3.00 (with paw prints...... nice!!!!!).

So I might just go for them if they are still on offer.

They'll probably do the job.

Still open to suggestions, though the airbags in the seat could be a problem to fitting a seat cover.
