It has been suggested the was have a East Anglian Rolling Road meet sometime Late August or September.

This poll is to judge when it should be, which day of the weekend, if we should combine it with a General East Anglian meet, and an idea of numbers.

The Rolling Road is at Emerald Engineering In Watton, run by Dave Walker who published in Car and Car Conversion, and reputably very accurate.

Cost would be in the region of £25 per car and he can cater for about 20 cars. I'd have to check if he would do an Auto.

I'm not going to vote, as currently my car is still in (many) bits, but the dates suggested are in my "window" for getting it on the road. No way would I want to subject it to the abuse that a RR session requres, but if it's running and legal, I'd love to bring it along. If not, then I'd still like to meet up with the EA members.

My "vote" would be for as late on in the year as possible!

Nutcase,

There's an option for that too (attend but not RR), Qn 15 or 16.

Hey, I'm from Essex, I can't count past 4

TBH, it's going to be one of those nearer the time things. If I'm available on the day decided, I'm there! If not, I'm sure you'll survive

I'm up for it, but want to take my Elise this time further to more mods being done to it - I really need this baseline figure for it. Have already done Power Engineering in the Aero (290bhp,293lb) and have done nothing since in terms of mods.

Anyone fancy a trip up there on country roads... fawlty.gif fawlty.gif fawlty.gif

Can I grab a lift with you up there, Jez?

Looks like a Sunday would be preferred. Maybe it's time to firm up on which one? I reasonably flexible at the moment apart from the weekend of 30th August as that's our wedding anniversary.

Look very unlikely that my car will be ready in time Still got a lot to do with the body, before any of teh bits can go back on. If anyone going passes near Chlemsford on the way and has a spare seat, I'd gladly chip in for petrol etc.
