Yeah, OK it was a Saab 2000 turboprop on a business jaunt to Italy. You could tell it was a Saab though - bloody cupholders in the seat backs!
Nice 9-3SS Vector in black on display in Bologna airport too - not drawing too much interest from the locals. Mind you with Modena down the road it's hardly suprising. Did notice a bright yellow c900 parked up on the tarmac at the airport with huge spotlights on the roof and a load of official airport type stickers on it.
I just saw my first 9-3 Sport Saloon on the road. I spotted it on the afternoon of Fri 8th November in Drottningsgatan, Trollhattan - just near Warf 36.
I saw a few more after that, too

Thinking of Airports, I noticed last week that Saabs "goundbreaking" sales patch at B'ham International Airport has been broken down and removed. Right when they go and launch a new car to attract customers....
I seem to remember there were two others around the UK - Edinggggburgh and Gatwick? Anyone know where and whether they're still there?
Well, the last time I flew from Gatwick was last November - it was there, then. Flew from Stansted this time.

700mph in a turboprop....
You'll be lucky......unless you get hit up the backside by a sidewinder missle perhaps.....

Yeah, OK then, 689mph or something like that - that's what is says on the spec. sheet for the Swiss Air fleet anyhoo.
