: NOISES rdwebster 07-30-2003, 02:20 PM Having had a complete re-build of my 9000 carlsson including new hybrid turbo and intercooler I have acquired an odd sucking noise eminating behind passenger footwell (seemingly) and only between 2000 to 3000 rpm but quite loud. If you are stationary and rev the engine does it do it or is it only under load.? When I removed the airbox snorkel, I started getting induction noise and othere noises from there, since without the snorkel, the inlet points rearwards towards the passenger (or driver for LHD cars). Perhaps the airbox hasn't been reassembled properly or the snorkel hasn't been refitted? You're almost certainly looking for a leak related to the airbox. | |
