Some kind individual thought that they would rather have the turbo badge from the front grille of my 9000 CSE 2.3 turbo (1196)than leave it where it should be. Anyone any ideas where i camn get a replacement. My local SAAB dealer says SAAB are out of stock and it could be many weeks to order.

You could try your local SAAB specialist as they often have second hand gear, including grilles

Don't just speak to your local dealer, speak to others. The cost of postage on this item will be minimal.

For a list of dealers that is easier to use than on the official site, take a look at: http://www.saabs.co.uk/tsp/dealers/dealers.html

many thanks. I have tried my local SAAB specialist and he has not any badges at all. I also telephoned a number of other local dealers and they are all out of stock of the 'turbo' badge as well.
Dont fancy sitting on the phone for ages calling around the country....may have to though!!!
Thanks once again for your assistance though.

Alun,

Try phoning Beechdale Saab in Nottingham (0115 9882999) and speak to Tim Bowman he is one of the service managers there and has always looked after me and my Hirsch 9000.

Anyway the point is it started life as a CSE LPT, no turbo badge when I bought the car from there, up on collection of the car I mentioned to Tim can I buy a turbo bagde, with that he produced one straight away @ a cost of about £3.

Also just out of interest it is their official opening tonight of the new garages (can service 90 saabs a day)but the big trill is I'm going to meet Mr Saab Erik Carlsson!

http://www.saabpartserv.co.uk/ is the correct URL that we all had a go at earlier.
