: Winter trackday event?

Thursday 19th May was the worst day on this part of the south coast this week, but even all the rain did not dampen anyone's spirits and it looks like a lot of people had a lot of fun on the track. http://www.saabscene.com/forum/images/smilies/fawlty.gif

At the post-track barbeque a number of people asked if we had to wait a year until the next trackday. Well, not necessarily.

I have a date of Friday 2nd December pencilled in for a Goodwood trackday (hopefully a Friday makes it easier for people) I have driven Goodwood in the winter, before, and I would hope there is more chance of us getting a clear, cold day.

This is early stages at the moment, but we would like to see how many people would be interested in a winter event?

To give an idea, 30 cars on the track is expected to cost £130 each. 40 cars on the track is expected to cost £100 each.

Si, our winters are really quite mild on the south coast, so hopefully should not present a problem.

I have been asked about this by a few people recently. I have checked with Goodwood and we are pencilled in for that day - so we just need to fill in the forms and collect the money.
