I've modded my car a bit, and I'd like to change my Forecourt entry, but can't due to the no replies/editing rule.

Can one of the admins help, or alternatively, maybe you should just relax the rules a bit to allow Forecourt posts to be edited - I'm not really sure why you disallow it ?

Thanks

Hi TW. The reason that we have prevented replies to forecourt posts is so that people do not bump their own entries back to the top. Apparently some people play outside the AUP http://www.saabscene.com/forum/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Incidentally, if anyone ever posts in duplicate in error, or makes a mistake, etc, then you may use the http://www.saabscene.co.uk/ubb/reportpost.gif button to report it to the facilitators of that forum. They can then help you http://www.saabscene.com/forum/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

I don't mind amending them for people. I would just need the required info to make the change.

I still think you're making work for yourselves unnecessarily by having the posts non-editable, since people do modify their cars a fair amount, and will want to update their entries.

But it's your decision of course.

I'll put a new entry in for mine, and ask for the old one to be deleted.

Thanks
