Welcome to Saabscene, aero9440 You have only been here a short time but I have been reading your informative and helpful posts - I am sure that many people will appreciate your sharing your knowledge and experience
In the UK, the Saab 9-3 (9440) is being marketed as the 9-3 Sport Saloon. For more info, take a look at http://www.saab.co.uk/main/GB/en/model_intro_93s.xml

Well being from the US I can tell you no one here knows what a saloon is. If it has four doors it's a sedan if it has two door its a Coupe and if it has a hatch then it's a Saab
by the way I LIKE not having a hatch, never would of bought the 93 if it would of had one, but that's just me.
