anyone heard anything about the supposedly upcoming saab 9-1? apparently it's going to use the subarus impreza's underpinnings and it looks like the 93x but that's all i know.. looks interesting tho.. and hopefully it will be a quality product!

Car Magazine yesterday (sorry March) reckoned that the Alfa 147 was amore likely base for the 9-1 than the Subaru.

Sorry for the double post! seems there is a similar thread in the News section.. But it IS a relief that the Alfa is chosen, altho the Scooby is a cracking car, to lift the dashboard off it absolutely stinks.

Wonder if there is any chance it'll look like the 9x

Then again, they do change their strategy on a dime..
