If the 1.8t is really a 2.0 litre what is the power output on this new model - same as old @185bhp or less?

Yep.. all are 2.0 litres..

The engine is a sleeved version of the 2.2litre 16v engine in Opels and Vauxhalls which was co-developed with Lotus Engineering.

1.8t is 150HP ( really a low pressure turbo 2.0)
2.0t is 175HP (also a low pressure turbo 2.0) and
2.0T is 210HP (A higher pressure turbo 2.0)

2.2TiD is 125HP

Yup - think they are all 2.0 litres, but the LPT is badged as a 1.8 to compete with the likes of BM 318's.

I'd guess the 1.8t is 150BHP, the 2.0t is 185BHP with the Aero at 210BHP.

Thanks Guys
Just wondered if i could take on the 'new guy' in our car park with his 1.8t and my '94 900ST in a straight line at least! http://www.saabscene.com/forum/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif - still might have to wait until I have done some upgrades - as a point of interest I was just reading the literature posted on www.saabnet.com (http://www.saabnet.com) and noted the did simulated crash tests on mooses How many of them on British roads then http://www.saabscene.com/forum/images/smilies/eek.gif
