Just got myself a Saab 93 convertible and would appreciate any suggestions as to the best way to look after the soft top as it will be left out in the elements all year round. Currently use Zaino products for the body work but they don't do anthing for soft tops.
Many Thank
Ken.

I'm not 100% on this but I think Auto Glym do a cream/liquid just for soft tops or maybe it's there bumpercare product which does it. I'm pretty sure they do something suitable.

Ken, Renovo's the thing. I use it on my C900 and it's magic. So much so that Saab themselves recommend it.

Cheers

Thanks guys.
I've seen the Auto glym stuff but would be interested in trying Renova. Will I be able to get it at my local Halfords or should I go to a Saab dealer?

I got mine mail-order from the manufacturer. Never seen it in Halfords, but I'm sure you can get it from your Saab dealer. At what price, though, I'm not sure ...

Ken,

I have a 9,3 Aero convertible which like yours has a waterproofed fabric top. I absolutely recommend you get the Porsche Tequipment kit for convertible tops - includes shampoo/cleaner and conditioner (it also has a cleaner for vinyl windows but that's a problem only for those poor Porsche owners) - It's an expensive kit but very good. You'll also need a soft bristle brush to get out accummulated dust and dirt from time to time.

You can find the kit at Porsche dealers.
