Recent weather conditions have prompted me to think of a preheating system for my TiD. Maybe it already has some auxiliary heating? As a Swedish car designed for those long Scandinavian winters I assume this is not an unusual request. Any help/advice appreciated.

Always a pity to have to answer one's own question.... Immediate reply from Saab UK through Saab website. "A preheater is available through your local Saab Dealership priced at £155 plus the cost of fitting. If you make contact with your local Dealership
they will be able to order the parts and arrange fitment." Now that's service for you!!
jnevillea, this forum is for the enthusiasts of the marque to discuss all things Saab - but it depends on the contributors, such as yourself.
Many questions get many answers, some questions get none. Either way, it is always useful when a contributor comes back with the information for others to see. Thank you.
Of course, it is good to hear that you got a prompt response from the official Saab website ;-)
