Hirsch performance are a swiss "tuner"..The parent company is actually one of the largest saab dealers in north europe.the importers in the uk are reading saab,the best people to talk to there are either chris the parts manager or ian panting,the workshop manager.tel no01189 509000.basic upgrade is an ecu ,takes car from 185bhp to 222 bhp,and improves drive and accleration pretty much everywhere.exhaust adds 9-11bhp(extra £800 or so!!)dealer in north is gordon lamb in sheffield,sorry,do not have number to hand.i do not work for reading saab or anyone connected with hirsch directly,but i have driven pretty much every other saab tune and i feel this one is by far the best.

I have driven Hirsch tuned 9-5s and 9-3s and can vouch for the enhancement. I can not compare them to Abbott Racing or Trent Saab (or any other performance specialists)

I own a Hirsch 9000 2.0 lpt, chipped from 150 bhp to 215bhp, apart from that and 16" Aero wheels to keep it one the road the car is standard. performance is vastly improved, the car Saab should have built, fuel economy servicing are the same as before, service can be done at your local Saab dealer Had mine done at Gordon Lamb Motorsport in Sheffield tel no. 0114 236 9946. Speak to Stephen Lamb, he is also the dealer principle for Saab there. Very nice man sorted my car drive in drive out in 3 hours, including rad testing of the chip. Very reliable so far has done just under a year ago, in fact had more problems with the car before it was chipped, and it was a dealer approved purchase (different dealer though)
