Following selecting the 9-3 Aero as car of the month last month, MSN homepage now has it compared with 4 other "top premium performers" - from BMW, Audi, Volvo and Jaguar. Needless to say it wipes the floor with the others, and is MSN's top pick

Saab are in grave danger of becoming popular (solvent, even?). Maybe that 9-2 will happen

Hmmm, I do hope this isn't indicative of some sort of marketing tie-in between Saab and MSN http://www.saabscene.com/forum/images/smilies/eek.gif http://www.saabscene.com/forum/images/smilies/eek.gif

Hmm.. I always reckoned Saab folks more OSX than WinWhatever.

Then again doesn't MS own quite a large bit of Mac?

I am not sure if MSN likes sAAB or not. The review on the MSN UK site states the following:

We feel that Saab is doing itself no favours by insisting on the Sports Sedan tag - frankly it doesn't quite measure up to cars like the BMW 3 Series or Alfa 156. On the other hand treat it as a distinctive compact executive car with its own unique personality and the 9-3 suddenly looks a much better bet. It has style, safety and easy performance in spades. Turbos are not the most economical petrol cars, though, and the C02 figures are only in the middle ground. But on balance we admire what the 9-3 has to offer.

That kinda reads a tad negative to me.
