I have a problem with the gear knob on my Saab 900.It is one of those original plastic ones and has the tendency to swivel round and feels really loose.
I was told by Saab that to replace it,it would cost £25.00 to buy and £25.00 to get it fitted as it has to be hacksawed off.Does anybody else have this problem and if so what did you do about it.

I've been told they pull off. I'll find out tomorrow when my leather gear knob which I got for the bargain price of £16.50 including P&P arrives. Let you know !

I was having trouble with my emblems (fading constantly) and I called Saab. They sent me a gift certificate for $100.00 USD and sent me to the local dealer where not only did I get new ones, I also had money left over. You might try it--wont cost you anything.
