I have just received an email from my friend, Patrick, proprietor of Alresford Motor Services near Winchester. Pat is a qualified to install LPG systems on Saabs and other vehicles but was not wanting to convert turbocharged vehicles until he had done his own and was happy to offer it to his customers.

Pat has just converted his 1992 9000 lpt with a new vapour injection system called etagas for fitment to turbo charged saabs, and he says "it is brill"! Also, anyone who is interested in an LPG system for their turbo or non-turbo Saab is welcome to visit and test drive his Saab.

He also says that in the budget the chancellor cut 3p per ltr on autogas and has made a commitment to keep it at that level until 2004, petrol prices are likely to rise to 90 pence per ltr in June due to restrictions in supply.
