I was just wondering if you guys had any experience of Event Mobile Tyres from the internet. I have just had a quote from them for 215/45 17” Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres at £89.99 including valve, balancing, vat and fitting at my home or work address. The price seems decent but the tyre is the older GSD 2 not the current GSD 3, however I am assured that the tread patterns are very similar.

GSD2 is ok, but the GSD3 is a very different tread, and the 'award winning' tyre.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm not sure whether to splash out an extra £20 per tyre for the GSD3, there seems to be some psychological barrrier where spending over £100 on a tyre seems a little hard to justify.

They would have been £250 - £300 10 years ago!
