Just bought a 9-5, but all literature for the vehicle has been misplaced at some stage...

Anyone know where I may be able to get these, or is it just something I'll have to go to a Saab dealer for?

I guess it's always worth a call to a dealer or specialist regarding the owners manual. You may even find one on some of the Saab parts sites. Then again there's Ebay....but I think I'd only use that as a last resort!!!

As for the service book, what happened to that? What year is your car? If it's a 2000MY, I suppose I could scan in the pages of my manual and email them to you (if that is allowed..I don't know what the copyright scenario is). Obviously not my service stamps though!!

As for the service history, if the car has been dealer serviced throughout, then you ought to be able to get a dealer to do a print out of the FSH. If the car was onwed by a fleet company, then they should have service records.

Hope this helps a bit.

Cheers Steve.

Martyn at JAMSaab has now sorted me with both of these... Traced all the old servicing back to one dealer, and new service book can apparently be stamped up to verify. Job done!

Fantastic news!!!

A far better outcome than me emailing you loads of scanned in pages from my service book!!!!

Real book, real service stamps, and verified service history. Result http://www.saabscene.com/forum/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif
