We take a different view, here.

I trust that you will be posting a reciprocal link from your board to this one, since we do not have the benefit of commercial funding.

This board has been financed by many of the contributors here (see names at top of first page).

What sort of decent discount can you arrange for all of them for allowing you to post against the rules of the board??

Nice one Smudger Very generous offer of a ten percent discount but how does this discount work? Is it available to all? how do we claim it? is it available at all branches of Eurocarparts? is it callers only or mail order?
Sorry if this sounds like the third degree but for the benefit of the contributors of the board I'd just like to make things clear as it will be beneficial to eurocarparts and saabscene

The discount will only apply when ordering through mail order. When you place an order through the website or over the phone, mention my name & what site you come from with the salesman & i will confirm the discount with him. Most branches will not give a discount to retail customers but i seem to have been blessed with the capability to do this! I look forward to the first of many orders & questions!

Just a quick thought. Do you have a list of all your forum members ? This way i called confirm that they come from your site & i can offer the discount. The list would only be used for this purpose & not for any other.

Yes, there is a list of members and No you can not have a copy I trust you understand that we can not pass on details of members of these forums to commercial organisations since we have not asked for their consent to do so.

Suggest you go with Plan A and people just need to quote "Saabscene" for their discount.

When they mention Saabscene, you could always ask them to confirm their Saabscene username, then look it up in the directory.

A list of members would soon go out of date, anyway, at the rate at which our membership is rising.

This is just a thought after a few Vod's!!

I am listed with my local Euro Car Parts so that when I call up by phone, you ask for my postcode and then tell me who I am. (This facility might be useful in the morning )

Is it possible that I could tell said branch, my name on this board and if you then required confirmation that I am a regular here, I could send you a Private message in this site to do so?

Thereafter, you would then have my details on account and I would appreciate fully a hassle free 10% discount.

Some good ideas. I could possibly put a reference on the screens at Wembley so that when the salesman puts your account number up, it shows on the screen & the discount can be applied. Unfortunately i can't do this at branch level. Thanks for the replies.
