I've had a '93 900 s for 2 years now. I really love how it hugs the road, but wish it had more power. Are there any fairly simple (and cheap!) things I can do to increase the torque, give it more horse power, and a higher red-line?

You could try the obvious but pricey ones.....
Abbott Racing

Trent Saab

Superchips do a chip upgrade for £150.00 which is supposed to give you 10 BHP more

A K&N airfilter will give you 2-3 HP more for £45.00 and are available online at

For ideas on what else can be done a good site to visit is Swedish Dynamics

Alternatively sell it and buy a 16v Turbo !

John,
Do they do Mods for the Classic 900 ?
Simon.
Er, No. I just noticed it said a 1993 900. In which case, Hirsch doesn't apply.
Well spotted, Simon ;-)
