I just got my fuel pump out to check the part number. I was expecting a Walbro pump but it's Bosch!? This means the pump has already been replaced? The pump looks great on the outside, as well as the gear visible on the bottom of the pump. Is there a way to test if it's working properly when its out? I'm working off info from eeuropart's site which suggests that there are only 2 kinds of pumps put in the 91 9000 turbos, which were both Walbro.

It's probably easier to test it when it's in the tank, isn't it?
Do you suspect a fuel pump problem?

I've kind of been on the endless persuit of stopping my car from misfiring since I got it http://www.saabscene.com/forum/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif I know that it's leaning out under load and has developed some starting/idling problems. (I think it's unrelated, coolant temperature sensor) so I've replaced the injectors, pressure regulator, fuel filter, DI, got a manual boost controller, and changed plugs. Anyone know if the Bosch pump is interchangeable with either of the Walbro pumps?
