Can anyone help me to source some cheap 16" alloys for my saab 1997 9000cse , I have enquired with numerous places and they all seem to want in the region of £425, which is the cheapest ex. delivery to Birmingham. I think it is cheaper to buy off market 17's especially with halfords offering 20% off all alloy wheel packages. I have spoken to a few second hand places and they want £350 for reblasted 16's. Please help anyone.

There is Two Stroke to Turbo (http://www.twostroke.co.uk) in Hatfield, Herts. They probably have a range of second hand wheels.

If you aren't in a rush, there are always a plethora of alloys for sale at the Owners Club spares day, which is usually in May!

You could try your luck at the scrappies. May be worth trying a Saab dealer - may have some end of range stuff. Sure they were selling sets of 16 inch Super Aero alloys for £395.

Also EuroCarParts (http://www.eurocarparts.co.uk) and Elkparts (http://www.elkparts.com) will be worth a try.

I'd also be interested at the right price. I have Super Aero's that could do with reconditioning, but if they are the right price, I would sooner replace them with new ones.

There are quite a few places that refurb alloy wheels- going rate is circa £40 per wheel. A Google search on "alloy wheel refurbishment" will point you in the right direction.
