I was going though my fuses the other day to try and locate other problems when I noticed the High Speed Fan 30amp fuse was blown. I replaced it and the fan would not stut off. With the car cool and keys out off the ignition the fan just keeps on running. I have had to keep the fuse out so I won't kill my battery. I would hope that this would be an easy fix right???

Either the temperature switch on the radiator has stuck on or the relay points are stuck closed.

A buddy of mine has just had this problem with a Porche 944, but didn't have the benefit of knowing that it was the fan that was running his battery down!! It has a post switch off fan feature too. He suspected the relay but it was the temperature sensor in the end.
