The heater a/c fan has developed a very annoying chirpping sound. Does anyone know how to go about replacing it? Is the fan accessible from the inside or outside under the hood? Also I'm looking for a source for replacement leather seat covers.

Sad to see no replies, as I have the same fan chirp that showed up along with the New England winter. Can I get at the fan easily?

Is your 9000 with a/c or acc. if it is the latter I can help

Oles = My Saab has A/C.I just had to replace the compressor, though that is unrelated. The fan problem has been around for some time.

If it is the A/C temperature sensor fan situated above the seat heater switches, then i had the same problem on my 2.3t,chirping and sqeaking. All i did was to remove the cover, clean the sensore element and give it a liberal squirt of WD40.....no more chirping
