I have a 1995 900 2.5 V6 Automatic and would like to fit cruise control.
I am not sure of what parts I need or what parts from across the range of SAAB or perhaps Vauxhall that would fit.
Can anyone give me details of what to look out for (part numbers etc) and what I should avoid.
I do not have the column switch or module, I am not sure about pedal switches as I don't know where to look.
Thanks

You will need a stalk with the cruise switch, one pedal switch (for brake pedal) and the underbonnet control unit. Get a secondhand stalk and a new brake switch (about £10 from memory)
The brake switch fits above and in front of the brake pedal, get down in the footwell after removing the lower kick panel, and you will see the area, there is a bracket built into the supports and you should also see the wire. Don't bother doing this though before you get the switch as your car won't have it if it never had cruise. Just get the switch and fit it when you need to.
The control unit sits in the engine bay at the extreme left near the bonnet hinge. The connector is taped into the loom on the firewall, just look for a spare connector that fits the unit. The cable from the unit connects to the throttle body.
It's a very simple instal, just make sure you get the correct control unit as they do vary (don't know the part no)

When I fitted the cruise to my '99 9-3, the brake (and clutch) switch was already fitted.
So it might be worth checking first

My 9-3 has them too. Think it became standard fit on 9-3s
P.S. The 900 V6 uses a different cruise ECU if I remember correctly. There were 2 or 3 on ebay a while ago from M5 Saab Centre.
