Hi all, completely new to saab driving and have come across from my old volvo to a saab 9-3 turbo eco 2002 99k, the problem is this, cr runs great drives well if you are light footed but if you are bit more heavier with the throttle i get a bad vibration from the front no matter what gear, its not the engine or turbo they seem to be functioning well, also worse up hills and last night was turning left round a corner up hill and it worsened on turning, thought about maybe dry cv joints or maybe driveshaft? but not mechanical so not sure what else it could be, any ideas?? thanks

Welcome! :)
I thought that by 2002 it had all been sorted out, but the only other thing I can think of is a cracked bulkhead.
Have a look here: http://www.saabscene.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=31630414
One symptom of this could be that the pedals move when you turn the steering wheel when the car is stationary.

has this just started happening ? how's your tyres looking, any wear on either side ?have you jacked the front wheels off the ground to see if theres any play/wobble in them or the driveshaft itself ?
it could be diff bearing as there are prone to go but tbh it could be anything ..
Have just bought the car, was taken for test drive and never really noticed, the pedals dont move when steering turns but not yet jacked it up was going to go to local garage but thought may be an idea to give them some clues to go on, its quite a vibration but if no load on the car its ok as in pottering round town etc only once on open road putting foot down a bit vibrates like mad, worse on hills but then more load i guess and cornering while accelerating worse still ?? thanks for replies, if jacked up what am i looking for ? sorry was a datsun 120y i think the last car i worked on...............

9-3's do suffer broken or worn engine mounts so that could be a problem , probably waring as it only happens when accelerating but you say worsens when turning right ? then that could be a wheel bearing i spose , when you turn right you're putting load on that wheel so thats why it vibrates ...but i would of thought it would happen at lower speeds but you report it happens at higher speeds so .. im really not sure
jack the wheel off the ground n see if theres any play init ( hold it and see if it wobbles from side to side )
