Thought I'd share this.

I just remembered to modify my 85K mile 95 Aero as I had my old one. I am only a size 10 shoe but my foot catches on the clutch pedal and makes really quick responses difficult, if one's foot is on the rest. How does Sven in his snow boots manage? Ergonomic, gimme a break!

I first tried to bend the pedal. Failed at the stress levels I was prepared to use and eventually realised the answer when curing a leaky windscreen seal with eveything out to dry (thanks Autoglass) .....

Its easy and you use the ski boot inner tailoring approach.

Pull away the floor carpet over the tunnel from under the vertical trim panel to expose the foam covered rubber sound absorder. Cut away a good area opposie the clutch pedal's engaged position to taste. Replace Carpet.

Voila! You have another couple of centimetres clearance which makes all the difference. Tools required, one Stanley knife or similar

Hope this makes someone happy. It did me. But then anything that just occasionally goes right makes me happy ;-)
